How to say no to a date

MAKE SURE YOU WANT TO SAY NO:

Once you've said no, that's usually it. You probably won't be asked by this person again. Would you queue up to be kicked in the teeth twice? If you really are busy at that particular time, but might consider going out with him/her in the future, say something like "I'm sorry, tomorrow night I can't. But, please ask me again."

LET HIM DOWN GENTLY:

Don't be too harsh. The last thing you want to do is really hurt him/her. So, answers like "I don't think so" or "Maybe another time" which are both fairly vague, will probably be interpreted as a 'no'.

ASK FOR TIME:

If you don't want to make up your mind on the spot, but would like sometime to think about this, just say so.

SUGGEST A JOINT VENTURE:

If you enjoy this person's company, but are not romantically interested, suggest a joint venture with other colleagues or friends. Something like, "Would you like to join my friends and me tonight?" should work.

How to Ask a Friend on a Date - For Him

C'mon ... what's the worst that could happen?

Things You'll Need:

* Telephones
* Breath Fresheners
* Cologne
* Newspaper Movie Listings
* Concert Tickets
* Movie Tickets

Instructions :
  1. Step 1

Take advantage of the telephone. If things start going south, you can excuse yourself from the conversation easily.

  2. Step 2

Be sure to identify yourself when you call. This saves both of you from the uncomfortable "who?"

  3. Step 3

Try not to blurt out your invitation. Ease into it. Start a conversation. If you start having second thoughts, you can always call back later.

  4. Step 4

Make it easy on yourself. A movie is better than lunch or dinner. It doesn't require much conversation, and you don't end up staring at each other all night.

  5. Step 5

Bring up a movie that's been recently released. Ask if she's seen it. If she has, you've opened the door to talking about films. If she hasn't, ask her if she'd like to.

  6. Step 6

If she says no, be direct. Ask, "Is that a bad time or are you just not interested?" Her answer could surprise you, and you're leaving it up to her to decide how to handle it. If she's really your friend, she won't be brutal with you

How to Make the Best New Year's Resolutions List

The new year is a perfect time to review the past and look to the future. Not every country celebrates the new year on Jan. 1, but resolving to improve in the new year is nearly universal. The U.S. government lists popular New Year's resolutions on its website, ranging from personal improvement to improving the world. The best way to make your own resolution come true is to select one and focus on it every day until it becomes a habit. Then you won't have to put it on the list again next year.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

* Paper and pen
* Computer

Step 1

Read the government's list of 13 resolutions. Some of them are the old standbys: Lose weight; get fit; quit smoking; drink less; get out of debt. Each has a list of resources. Choose one. Focus on it. Get all the help you can, from medical aids and books to therapy and personal coaches.

Step 2

Reduce personal stress by looking forward. Plan a trip to somewhere you've always wanted to see. Save up for it. Research the sites to visit and plan what you will do. You will smile with anticipation, a health boost.

Step 3

Resolve to wake up with a smile. Think of something you're happy about before you open your eyes and share your smile with others for the rest of the day.
Help Others

Step 1

Resolve to help others by volunteering. "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?' " said the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Volunteer your time and meet others who have the same goals and interests that you do.

Step 2

Find suggestions for volunteer opportunities on the government website, ask friends, look in the papers, on community bulletin boards and inquire at churches and senior centers. Enjoy a side benefit: Philanthropy reduces stress by focusing on others.

Step 3

Go green and resolve to reduce waste by recycling, using less packaging and buying fresh from local farmers and markets. You'll be healthier and kinder to the planet.

New Directions

Step 1

Dream about where you want to be in five years. Review what things you need to get there and make one of them your resolution.

Step 2

Learn a new skill, get a degree, change jobs, move to a better location. Each time you complete a goal, move to the next one.

Step 3

Include relationships in your resolutions. Whether with soulmates or co-workers, resolving to be more responsive and sensitive will improve everyone's new year.

How to Stop Teen Sexting

Is your teen "sexting"? Do you know what it is? Chances are your teen does.

A recent MTV and Associated Press poll found more than a quarter of teens and tweens admit to having engaged in "sexting" - the exchange of sexually explicit material via cell phone, email or social networking posts. The poll also indicated that 61 percent of those who have sent sexually explicit messages or photos did so because they were pressured by someone to send the images.

Teenage girls are more likely to send photos than teen boys, but the population of "sexters" is equally split among teens who are sexually active and those who are not. Sexting can be a result of cyber bulling, peer pressure, perceived innocent flirtation or a simple exchange between two romantic partners gone awry. However it occurs, sexting can have lasting and severe consequences.

Recent media reports have linked two teen suicides to sexting. Last spring a middle school student in Florida sent nude photos to a boy she liked that were forwarded to the entire school. The psychological and social torture that ensued allegedly led to her suicide in September. A similar situation happened in Cincinnati, Ohio, when an 18-year-old committed suicide after nude photos she had sent to her boyfriend were viewed by many of her teenage friends.

That situation is not unusual; according to the MTV and Associated Press poll, 17 percent of those who had received naked images had forwarded them to someone else.

The problem for parents is that, developmentally, teens cannot imagine the potentially devastating results of sexting. Exchanging sexual text messages and photos is quickly becoming a romantic ritual of dating.

But the consequences of sending or receiving sexual images are severe. There is the emotional fallout - being the victim of a prank, being pressured to send a "sext" or sending one in a bid for attention can lead to depression and social outcasting.

But there also can be criminal consequences, including potential charges of child pornography for possessing sexually explicit photos of minors - and a lifetime of registering as a sex offender.

Parents and caregivers of teens need to provide accurate and powerful information about the consequences of sexting.

Instructions :
  1. Step 1

Talk! Talk regularly and talk often. Resist the urge to view discussing sex or sexting with your child as the "big (and only) sex talk". Discussions related to sex, your child's sexuality or sexting should start early and be an ongoing dialogue.

The place to start is to ask your teen or tween if they know what sexting is. Refer to the media stories about the two teens committing suicide to explain the serious nature of sexting. Look for prompts on TV, in movies, music, or books as spring boards to continue to discuss sex, sexuality and sexting with your teen.

  2. Step 2

Cater the information given to the age level of your child. Don't assume your teen knows sexting is wrong; explain it to them. Teens cannot fully understand that an impulsive click has the potential to send damaging photos or text messages around the globe.

Explain the psychological and criminal consequences. Photos posted or text sent can be damaging to another teens' self esteem, reputation and future success academically or damage potential opportunity for employment. Once sent, photos can be archived online and available for viewing permanently.

  3. Step 3

Set up parental controls online on your teen's cell phone. You can stay active in your teen's virtual world in a variety of ways: limiting cell phone features, "friending" your teen on social networking sites and knowing passwords to their phones, email and profiles.

This may generate a teen's common argument that you do not trust them, but remind them that this is an issue of safety. Your monitoring their texting and social networking postings helps monitor predatory behavior, prevent the potential of unforeseen lasting consequences and guard your teen's future success academically and in the work force.

  4. Step 4

Remind your teen of the consequences. In states such as Florida, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania, felony charges have been brought against teens for sending sexually explicit photos over their phones. Transmitting sexually explicit depictions of people under 18 is a felony in all 50 states.

Sexting falls under the child pornography crimes. Producing, distributing and even being in possession of sexually explicit photos from sexting are punishable under law. Being charged as a sex offender or child pornographer is the result. This is a lifelong consequence.

  5. Step 5

Know your teen's lingo. If you have ever viewed one of your teen's text messages, it can be like trying to decode a cryptic message with no guidebook! BFF, LMAO,ILYS - it's a virtual alphabet soup.

Know which common abbreviations you should be concerned about. Some, like BFF (best friend forever), LMAO (laughing my --- off) and ILYS (I love you so much), are relatively innocent.

But there are other abbreviations that should raise concern: IPN (I'm posting naked); GAP (got a picture?); P&C (private and confidential); MOS (mom over shoulder); and 9/99 (parent is watching/parent is no longer watching).

How to Get Hired in the New Year

As far as employment goes, 2009 was a bit of a bust for most people. Those with jobs did everything they could to keep their positions as thousands of people were laid off.

But as 2010 rounds the corner, many people are hopeful when it comes to job prospects. Here are some tips to getting a new job in the new year!

Things You'll Need:

  • Resume
  • Optimism
  • Newspaper
  • Internet

Instructions :
  1. Step 1

Look into growth industries. While much of the financial industry may be on a downturn, there are other industries that are growing. The green industry offers plenty of jobs in the environmental field, for example. And health care will continue to be a smart choice. Even if your skill set isn't environmental science or health care, you can still get a job related to your skills in these booming fields.

In 2010, the hot jobs are expected to be:
    • Tax Accountants
    • Compliance Directors
    • Credit Managers/Supervisors
    • Senior Financial Analysts
    • Network Administrators
    • Information Systems Securities Managers
    • Systems Engineers
    • Medical Records Clerk
    • Executive Assistants
    • Customer Service Representatives

  2. Step 2

Pay attention to geography. If a move is possible, you may want to consider it. States including Texas and Washington aren't expecting further job drops. If you've never worked in a city before, that may be the place you want to go to snag a job because cities generally offer more prospects.

Different areas of the country will pick up at different times. Hiring is expected to pick up across the nation during the first quarter of 2010, compared to the final three months of 2009.

The South reported the strongest employment outlook at 7 percent expected growth, while the Midwest expects 6 percent and the Northeast anticipates 3 percent. Though the West had the weakest outlook at 2 percent, a report from the staffing firm Manpower Inc. said employers in the region experienced the biggest increase in confidence compared to the same period last year.

  3. Step 3

Continue to hunt. Despite doom-and-gloom reports, the important thing for job hunters is to consistently look for jobs and frequently assess his or her plan of attack. Consider related fields and other jobs that you can leverage your skill set to get into. Right now many people just want to make ends meet, so if you need to take another gig to pay the bills, that's OK.

  4. Step 4

Reassess your strategy. Do something different to jump-start your job search. Whether you hire a resume writer to create a new document or start using recruiters instead of relying on the Web, make sure you are diversifying your job hunt and always re-evaluating it.

  5. Step 5

Reconnect with old associates. The new year is the perfect excuse to "duck in" on other professionals from your past. If you had an interview that was great, but didn't result in a job, send a brief email to let the company know you are still looking and would welcome the opportunity to meet with them. Send a card to an old colleague. You never know where new doors can open - and new opportunities too!

Make Money Online by Paid Blogging

Blogging is a fun way to make money online and get paid to write. There are several legitimate websites that will pay you for your blog posts. Before you begin blogging, it is important to realize that as a blogger you often need to meet deadlines. If writing is something you like to do only in your free time, blogging probably isn't for you. It takes quite a bit of dedication to one subject on a regular basis.

Instructions :
  1. Step 1

Allvoices allows you to join and blog about "news." The set up looks a lot like associate content. It has an "incentive program" to pay users for blog posts, much like the incentive program at eHow.

  2. Step 2

B5Media has a listing of current openings. If you are hired to blog for them, they set up a blog template for you. You do not have to have your own blog. You can network and get tips from other bloggers.

  3. Step 3

Unlike the two websites above, Blog Distributor requires you to have your own blog. They claim that all blogs are valuable to them though, so if your blog is new, it may still qualify. You make posts to your own blog and link to the websites of blog distributor customers to increase traffic to those websites. Because it is a method of promotion for the customers you earn money on the posts you make to your private blog linking to them.

  4. Step 4

Blog republic pays bloggers per post. They regularly accept applications for new bloggers and have a list of the topics for which they are currently hiring on their application page.

  5. Step 5

Pay per post hires writers to post to forums. In addition to paid forum posting, they also offer paid blogging assignments. If you are interested in doing guest blogging, on blogs owned by others, pay per post is a great place to sign up.

Bukisa will also let you post content that you own on their site, you will have to play with this site a bit to get used to how it works. But hey it is another free site you can join and make money from.

There is a link to Bukisa in the resources section below

  5. Step 5

MAKE MORE MONEY USING TWEETBUCKS WHEN YOU TWITTER
Tweetbucks is one of several interesting sites where you can shorten your url's and make money with their pay per click program.

A URL is the code that usually starts with http:// at the top of your web browser, using tweetbucks your readers are no longer clicking on this long url to get to the page you want them to go to when they click on a link.

If you enable the ad frame any link is Monetized meaning that if someone clicks on the link you will receive payment for that click. To enable ad frames you click in the enable ad frame check box and then in another browser window go to your article site, (in this case we will use ehow.com)go to your custom Avitar and right click on it, you should find a line that says "copy image location" click on that and then go to the page with tweetbucks and again right click on the "image location" and click on paste.
Then go back to your articles page and right click over your url in the web page bar, click on "copy link location" and then go back to the tab for tweetbucks and paste the link into your web page link bar.
Do the same as above for the url to your article and click shorten.
Use this shortened url whenever you send tweets on your articles or whenever you link your articles together and then you will receive pay per click money.

Just for signing up they pay you $5

You won't usually make much off of this site but hey, every little bit helps!
They will even pay you per click if you opt to retweet tweets for companies found on their retweet offers page!

  6. Step 6

    NETWORK WITH REDGAGE.COM
Redgage is a unique site where you post links to articles, blogs, photos, videos, youtube, etc in one central location.
They you get paid per click from their site to the sites that actually host your articles. People can then rate your articles on redgage to increase your pay per click ratios.
Eventually they will get the documents link up where you can actually post the content directly onto their site as well but as I understand it, it may not be up just yet.

  7. Step 7

    SIGN UP FOR AFFILIATES PROGRAMS

There are several web sites out there that will pay you to sell their merchandise. You do not have to do a thing but post links to their information in your resources section of your articles or if you have a website you can set up an online store or links to individual items.

Again this is free to join, and you get paid per click on the sale of their merchandise, you do not have to box, ship or otherwise handle the goods you list for sale.

If you use Tweetbucks to shorten those long url's to the affiliate merchandise you often receive more per click than you would have otherwise received by simply using Tweetbucks to shorten those long url's.

  8. Step 8

FINALLY, LOCATE AND SIGN UP FOR AFFILIATES LINKS
I have the url for Amazon.com affiliates page in my resources section below.

Say you are writing an article about how to properly apply eye shadow.
You know that Amazon.com sells various shades and types of eye shadow, so you can log onto your affiliates account, locate eye shadows and pick a couple to post onto your resources section on your articles. Now if you use tweetbucks to shorten that long url you can then be paid anytime someone clicks on that link, then if they actually buy something while using your link you will receive a commission off of that sale. Great right?
But how do you figure out what to use out of that HUGE url that Amazon.com gives you?
Well first ehow.com does not support images so click on text only, then highlight that text by moving your mouse over the text and right clicking and then click select all, then copy. This information you will post into the box on the right side of where you enter the web address. Then go back to your Amazon.com page and you will see that there will be a " followed by http:// then a long url and another set of " this information is what you will highlight and copy to place again into your tweetbucks url shortener web page. Now your link will pay more per click than it would have if you just put it straight into your links box.

How to Make Money Online Writing eBooks for Other People

Writing eBooks can be a lucrative way to bring business to a website and many webmasters are willing to pay a skilled ghost writer to do the job for them. Once you've written the eBook, your clients can sell it as downloadable information to hundreds of web surfers, or use it as a free eBook and drive business to their site. Either way, eBooks are growing in demand and here is how to get started.

Instructions :
  1. Step 1

Have some sort of writing samples ready to show a client. If you don't have any yet, write a short eBook and use that.

  2. Step 2

Bid on freelance contracts. Sign up at as many free websites as possible that post eBook jobs. Visit those sites twice a week and submit offers. Don't bid lower than what seems reasonable, even if you are worried you'll lose a bid. It's more advantageous to put in multiple bids at a higher price than just a couple low bids. There are many such sites, like Rent a Coder, that do this. A quick Google search of "ghost writer eBook" will track many of them without much effort.

  3. Step 3

Advertise yourself on Craigslist. Thousands of people search every day on Craiglsist for almost anything. You can generate a lot of business by using this technique because it only takes a few minutes to post the ad, doesn't cost you anything and there's no competition when you find a client.

  4. Step 4

Create an eBook writing website. If you want to make a career out of eBook writing, you can create your own website to offer your services, using adwords to bring business to yourself. This market has not yet been over-run with competition and the desire for eBook ghost writers is growing.

  5. Step 5

Charging a fee. It's not uncommon to receive $300 for the average size ghost writing assignment. Before you set a price, consider the topic, the number of pages and the way the client wants the eBook written. Depending on the complexity of the topic and number of pages, you should adjust the amount you're charging.

  6. Step 6

Never verbally agree to accept payment after the work is done. You will get ripped off now and again. Instead, have the client sign a written contract.

  7. Step 7

Use an online escrow company. The client will have to put the agreed payment amount in escrow, which is a neutral third party that safeguards the business transaction. When the job is done, escrow will release the money to you. If you get a client who refuses to use an escrow company, or sign a contract, don't do business with them.

How to Make Money on the Internet

You've probably seen a lot of articles already (including here at imoneybuzz) on making money on the internet. This one pulls it all together, and separates the good, the bad, and the ugly. You CAN make money online, and NO, not everything out there is a scam. I'll be updating this regularly, so you might want to bookmark it, and check in once a week or so.

Instructions :
  1. Step 1

Read this, just for a bit of inspiration. I make about $2000 a month on the internet. Not enough for me and my family to live on, but a nice addition to my income just the same. It's pretty easy, and pretty quick, to get a SMALL income stream started. It takes time and effort to build it up. Might as well get started today.

  2. Step 2

Take stock of what you have to offer. If you are a writer, programmer, designer, or photographer, there are oodles of opportunities for you. If you have a speciality of any sort -- carpentry, raising kids, planning vacations or wedding, playing Guitar Hero 3 -- you can get paid for your expertise. Even if you think all you can offer is time, there are opportunities for you as well.

  3. Step 3

Scan the steps below. Pick the one that seems the best fit, and start exploring.

  4. Step 4

Freelance Work (sometimes called "personal outsourcing"). If you have a skill to offer, check out the various freelance sites like elance.com and guru.com (see the Resources, below). You can post your skills at these sites, so potential customers can check you out, and you can also look around for freelance projects that others have posted.

  5. Step 5

There are tons of opportunities for freelancers, in very varied fields. Common projects, though, are writing, computer or design work -- creating web pages, programming, writing brochures or reports, illustration and photography, and so on.

Pay can be pretty good, especially after you've earned a quality rating at one or more of the freelancing sites.

Take a look at the "How Elance Works" video on their main page to get a quick overview.

  6. Step 6

Writing. There are a number of ways to take your skill as a writer and turn it into cash.

One of them is right here at eHow. Write brief "How to" articles on any topic of your choosing, and get paid for the article. The more popular the article, the more income you can expect. A good article will bring in $50 per year or more. Write 10 articles, and that's $500. A hundred articles...you get the picture.

  7. Step 7

More writing. (a) At SoftwareJudge.com, write reviews of select software products...top reviews earn up to $50 each. (b) Product Reviews. You may be familiar with epinions.com, but did you know they pay cash for good quality reviews. You won't get rich, but you can get started. (c) Suggest domain names according to site descriptions at Pickydomains.com Get $25 for each name that is chosen. (d) At Xomba.com, write anything you feel like, and collect 50% of any advertising income from Adsense clicks on your page.

  8. Step 8

Research/Question and Answer (Q&A) Sites. I earn much of my income as an online researcher, answering folks questions on everything under the sun: investments, market research, divorce law, homework help...you name it. If this sounds like your cup of tea, take a look at the resources in the next step.

  9. Step 9

    (a) The Association of Independent Information Professionals (aiip.org) can help you build you own Q&A website and business.

    (b) I work with Uclue.com Though they are not accepting new researchers right now, it's worth a look to see how a well-developed Q&A site works.

    (c) Another Q&A site is JustAnswer, and they offer small payments for answers to questions.

  10. Step 10

Use (or build) your own blog or website to make money online. The key is to generate as much traffic as you can, and to have your visitors click on ads and affiliate links. The more people visiting your site, clicking on ads, and buying affiliate products, the more income you can earn. As good as this sounds, income is generally more a trickle than a flood. But again, steadily building your site (or sites), and building traffic, is the key to generating a steadily growing stream of income. The resources in the next step can help get you started.

  11. Step 11

The best resources I know of for ads and affiliates are: (a) Google AdSense (b) AssociatePrograms.com (c) Commission Junction

Also, at Orble.com, you can take ownership of an abandoned blog with a specific focus, like Film, or Travel, and collect a portion of the ad revenues. The advantage of this is that the blog is already well-represented in search engines, and can often generate much more traffic than a new blog of your own. See Orble under the Resource links, below, for more information.

  12. Step 12

Photography...At istockphoto.com you can upload still photos or videos for sale, and receive a small royalty payment every time someone makes use of your content.

  13. Step 13

Surveys. CashCrate.com makes it possible to get paid to take online surveys. They strike me as legitimate, but I confess, I don't have any first-hand experience with it, so approach with caution...

SurveyScout.com is another possibility, but unlike CashCrate, they charge a membership fee before you can get started (Boo!). I've also heard some negative feedback from users of this site, so proceed with caution (if you proceed at all!).

  14. Step 14

Teaching/Tutoring. Search on [ Online tutoring ] and you'll uncover dozens of sites in this booming corner of the internet. Many accept applications for online tutors, with variable rates and topic areas. Two to consider are tutor.com and ehomeworkhelp.com

  15. Step 15

Online "Jury Duty". Here's an odd one. Lawyers looking for feedback on how a case will play before a jury use online e-jury sites to solicit input from the type of average citizens that show up on juries. Yes, you get paid. Fees for complex cases can run over $50, though $20 is more typical. To serve as an online juror, check out onlineverdict.com, or trialpractice.com. UPDATE: I've heard from some users that at least one online jury duty site has no real actual work to offer, so use these services with eyes wide open!

  16. Step 16

Virtual office assistant. At TeamDoubleClick, you can sign on for temporary jobs as an office assistant, handling correspondence, emails, bookkeeping, data entry, and other office jobs. Think of it as an online temp agency for virtual work. Pay is varied, but you are not obliged to take jobs that don't meet your financial needs.

  17. Step 17

Moola.com. This is the strangest one yet, and I can't personally vouch for it (I've only tinkered with the site), but it looks legitimate. Moola starts you off by giving you a penny, which you can then double, and double again, through a variety of games and activities. Presumably, they make oodles of money through ads, and are willing to through some of it your way by participating in their zany set of games and marketing gimmicks. They call themselves a "Massively Multiplayer Rewards Game". It's too complicated to explain here, but worth a look.

  18. Step 18

Crowdsource design. "Crowdsourcing" is the buzzword for getting a lot of people to do your work for you. If you're good at designing things like t-shirts, logos, fancy fonts, and other graphics, take a look at the challenges at 99designs.com and threadless.com, where you can collect hundreds of dollars if your design is chosen.

  19. Step 19

Blogging. How does $100 a month sound for writing a few blog posts every week? That's what you can be paid (actual range is $84-140) if you get accepted as a blogger at Creative Weblogging. They are a large blog network, and seem to have mastered the art of monetizing their many sites. All they need are people to write them, and keep the content fresh.

  20. Step 20

Blogging, photos, video, you name it. Flixya offers 100% of ad revenue to anyone who posts at their website (you need to have your own Google Adsense account to participate). Words, pictures, videos, whatever ya got. Post it, bring in some traffic, and collect some ad clicks. (Haven't tried it yet myself, but flixya has a good reputation).

  21. Step 21

Thanks to commenter bseidel for pointing out good links to micro stock photography sites, where you can upload photographs, and get paid for every one purchased from the site. A good starting site is BNPS, where photographers get about 50% of the purchase price of every photo sold.

  22. Step 22

Another site that pays for content is mylot.com (in fact, they promise earnings everytime you use the site!). Haven't given them a test run yet, so if you have experience with them, please post a comment, below.

  23. Step 23

At slicethepie.com, you can get paid for listening to music. Say what!!! Yep, listen to upcoming artists, and review their music. The more reviews you write -- and the better you are at spotting new talent -- the more you can get paid. Some folks are pulling in several dollars per review.

  24. Step 24

If you have good typing skills, consider Speak-Write.com, an online dictation service.

  25. Step 25

You can participate in online focus groups, where you review a product you've used, or discuss an issue of interest to you. Payment ranges from about $50-150 per session. Participants are typically asked to join a group once or twice a year.

  26. Step 26

Woo Hoo! Google Knol is live. This online encylopedia-like site is a place where anyone can contribute content, and you can place Adsense ads on your article to generate revenue. Though a pretty new site, it's Google, and likely to generate a lot of traffic. Which means a good opportunity for advertising income.

  27. Step 27

Website review. You can get paid for reviewing websites. Usertesting.com pays $10 per website review. It's not open-ended...you have to be selected to test, based on your demographic profile.

  28. Step 28

Ready for this? You can earn money reading emails! Of course, there are ads involved, and you might be asked to click a few things, but it's not difficult. Expect to get 5-10 emails a day (more, if you register multiple email addresses), and earn a few pennies per email.

  29. Step 29

Little bit of everything. Genuinejobs.com is a legitimate work-at-home site that lists hundreds of jobs, none of which require a fee, and many of which can be done online. Registration is simple...worth checking out.

  30. Step 30

Write for the NY Times. Really! The Times owns two sites that regularly hire writers. ConsumerSearch.com uses freelance writers to create detailed reviews of common consumer products...minimum pay is $350 per write-up, and they do a lot of hiring. About.com, another Times property, hires writers as guides. These positions, paying $725/month or more, are tougher to get, but worth looking into.

  31. Step 31

In the six months or so since I first posted this article, I must say, I've found no better site than right here at eHow.com for earning income online (I'm up to about $1,000 a month!). At present, it's only available to residents in the US, but if that's you, give it a try.
